These Terms govern your use of the Google Developer Group on Campus — King Abdulaziz University (“GDG KAU”, “we”, “us”) website and dashboard. By accessing or using the platform you agree to these Terms.
GDG KAU is a student-led developer community at King Abdulaziz University, operating under the Google Developer Groups on Campus program. We are not Google, and Google is not responsible for this platform or its content.
The platform is open to KAU students and the wider developer community interested in our activities. You must provide accurate information and be able to form a binding agreement to create an account.
Authentication is handled by our sign-in provider. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for all activity that happens under it. Keep your profile information accurate and up to date.
You agree not to misuse the platform. This includes: posting unlawful, hateful, or harassing content; impersonating others; uploading malware; attempting to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the platform; and scraping data without permission.
Content you submit — profiles, comments, activity registrations, support messages, and files — must be lawful and your own to share.
Registering for an activity does not guarantee a seat; capacity is limited and registrations may be reviewed, accepted, or declined by the club. Some activities may require you to share additional information through a registration form.
You control whether your profile is public and which sections are visible. Content you choose to make public may be seen by anyone. You are responsible for what you publish.
Messages and files you send through the contact and support tools are shared with authorized club staff so they can help you. Do not send sensitive personal information you do not want shared with the team.
The GDG and Google Developer Groups names and logos belong to Google. Other platform content and branding belong to GDG KAU or its members. You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a license to host and display it for the purpose of running the platform.
We rely on trusted providers for authentication, data storage, and email delivery. Your use of the platform is also subject to those providers' terms.
We may suspend or restrict accounts that violate these Terms or disrupt the community. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.
The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it running smoothly but cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
